So I copy pasta'd this artcle,,,
"The Break Away Society"
According to researchers, a breakaway civilization is a term referring to a secretive group within a nation or society that furthers a hidden agenda often involving technological advancements that eventually lead to resource independence from the parent community. These resources would include but are not limited to, financial, social, or material demands that are one day transcended as a result of an agenda’s success.
I was speaking with a co-worker the other day and the topic of automation and the effects it was going to have on the job market going forward.
Teslas production facilities are an example of the state of the art technology used to manufacture electric automobiles with little to no interactions with humans in the production process. The cost savings that can be afforded to businesses that utilize this technology is exponential relative to the legacy methods of human production. Companies will save on employee health benefits, retirement plans, workmans comp claims and lost time due to employment negotiations. All combined, automation technology has the potential to increase profit margins for companies well beyond the margins of the best run human operations.
One current instance of this playing out in real world time is the recent announcement by General Motors to layoff off up to 14,700 workers and the closure of five manufacturing facilities.
Now, if I were to place an estimated guess,,, those same positions and factories will re-open at a later date with re-tooled equipment to automate more of its production line and make GM more competitive going forward, (and that's just a wild guess ;-). Stock holders will be happy about that and factory workers are just gonna be shit outta luck.
So, the question is,,, What to do? Most would suggest that a crowd sourced boycott of companies that don't put humans first would be the most effective way to pressure company executives into putting people before profits; That same crowd would also be shit outta luck when the cards hit the table. And yea I know, that's kinda hard, but the brutal reality of the economics involved is that many consumers don't have the luxury of protesting with their wallets,,, And C.E.O.'s answer to share holders,,, not street protestors. Bottom line.
However, before you totally begrudge company executives that make their brands a greater priority than their employees, please consider the current social environment in many work places; From both the employee and customer perspectives, respectively.
From my position, I watch videos via many different hosting platforms. On a daily basis I can pull up videos of violence in the market and work space. Just watching it is distressful for me, so I know it has to really effect those involved. It also puts companies in tremendous financial and legal jeopardy to the tune of billions of dollars a year in law suits.
>> Here's a video << of a waiter fighting a guy outside of a Denny's Restaurant for not leaving a tip. There's no shortage of these types of videos, and upon review, no one in their right mind would ask why businesses choose to install self-check outs and stand alone kiosks that replace the need for human interactions. Some companies, like Starbucks, offer APPS that allow customers the option of ordering and paying via their smart phone and thereby negate the entire human exchange.
Now combine all of that with the introduction of 3-D printing technology and you have the perfect climate for all that "Change" Obama was talking about,,, naw, bullshit, he's not that smart. But hey, to be fair to the guy, he went from having his credit card declined at a sandwich shop, (if I re-call correctly), to having a net worth of close to 40-million dollars after only 8-yrs as President,,, on an approx. 185k a year salary as Prez., so the guy's a sage stock investor or just a fuckin' crook,,, or something else all together, who knows.
But don't worry folks,,, that's not all, "The Sky is Falling" hoopla, because the U.N.'s on the move and socialist countries around the globe are spearheading it. What they have planned with the Migrant Migration Compact is nothing less than a concerted effort to de-stabilize all of the advanced countries on the planet in an effort to achieve equity among nations. However, equity doesn't come without investment or sacrifice,,, absent either of those, it's theft; A.K.A. wealth re-distribution.
So I present this question; How many times have you walked down the street with a coupla bucks in your pocket and said fuck it, I'm gonna go rob the bank across the street simply because they have more money than I do. In short, most people would never do that because they know they would go to jail. Let the U.N. do it and it's totally justified.
